| Members of the ICS Board of Trustees |
ICS was established as a non-profit Foundation in 1968. Since then, the Board of Trustees has governed the school in accordance with its bylaws (which concern the organisation, administration and activities of the school) and Swiss law. The Board appoints a Head of School as chief executive officer to carry out the educational and administrative functions of the school. The Head of School is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school, while the Board is responsible for the setting and amending of various policies and procedures pertaining to the school. The duration of the ‘Stiftung’ is perpetual. Board members are elected to a three-year term of service and may then stand for additional terms. It is interesting to note that with the sole exception of Dr. von Graffenried, every Board member is a past or present parent or student at the Inter-Community School.
There is a full list of current Board members of ICS here.
There are details here of the ICS Board Committees.

The Inter-Community School Foundation publishes an Annual Report each year, detailing events of note in the Primary and Secondary schools, and carrying information on the school's IB Diploma results and annual financial statements.
The Reports are posted to all families at the school and can also be read by following the links below.
