Annual Tuition Fees include books, all mandatory curriculum trips and IB exams (except additional and/or replacement lost, stolen or damaged text and library books, and the costs of re-sitting IB exams).
The first portion (60%) of the annual tuition fee is due before the first day of classes in August. The second portion (40%) is due before the first day of classes in January. All other invoices are payable as stated on the invoice. No refund of fees will be issued in the event that ICS, or any part of it, is forced to close due to circumstances beyond the school's control.
The parents/guardians are responsible for all financial matters, regardless of the billing address.
For student late enrolment the fees are pro-rated on a monthly basis as per the first day of each month, plus a 5% surcharge of the annual fees.
Providing that two months' notice of Early Withdrawal is given, the fees will be prorated on a monthly basis as of the last day of each month, plus a 5% withdrawal surcharge of the annual fees.
In March of each year, parents will be asked to complete and return a re-registration form, indicating whether their child will be returning to ICS the following school year. Places cannot be reserved unless there is a definite indication that a student intends to return. Subsequent failure to take up a registered place may incur a cancellation fee of CHF 2'000 unless it is the result of circumstances beyond your control (such as a last minute transfer away from Zurich).
