This year Grade 2 is going to Obersaxen for three days, Grade 3 is going to Swiss rural community Engelberg for four days and Grade 4 is going to Kandersteg for a week. These are all resorts in Switzerland.
Grade 5 will cross the border into Allgäu in Southern Germany for a week's adventure activities such as rafting and orienteering. Grade 6 students are heading to an alpine resort called Stoos to find out what rural Swiss life is like. Grade 7 will visit Locarno and Cabbiolo in the Tessin, the Canton of Switzerland that borders Italy. Grade 8 is going to the Village Camps Swiss Alpine Centre in Leysin, in French-speaking Switzerland, to camp and hike. And Grade 9 students are, according to interest, going off to do adventure activities in Interlaken, study Spanish in Valladolid or join a drama workshop in Strasbourg.
Grade 10s are away for a month, from mid-June, on their Personal Development Month. Some of the Grade 10s are going with a teacher on a World Challenge Expedition to Nepal. Grade 11s are also offered a variety of locations to visit, such as studying drama in London, photography in Italy or cycling in France.
