When you enter the Primary School you are touched by the warm, caring and safe community that exists. It is an environment where teachers, parents, and children work closely together, enjoying a strong sense of community.
As you move around the school, it is evident that the children enjoy their learning and are stimulated in a rich and supportive environment.
Well resourced classrooms
The Primary School starts with the Early Years 1 programme (3 - 4-year-olds). This is based in its own, new facility in Pfaffhausen.
The classrooms of children in Early Years 2 to Grade 5 (that's children aged from 4 up to 11) are located in the Primary School and in the Stables building. (From August 2010 onwards, this is an area dedicated to Grades 4 and 5). The classrooms are well resourced and the children enjoy a full and rich specialist programme which includes German, Art, Drama, I.T., Physical Education, Dance and Library.
Different styles of learning
In the Primary School, we look beyond the written curriculum and evaluate what is required for each child to learn, considering the different approaches and strategies that benefit different styles of learning.
Our aim is to develop independent learners whose natural curiosity has been nurtured and whose love of learning has been ignited.
