Secondary School

Studying at an international school offers a great deal more than enjoying classes with students from different countries, although this is an important aspect of school life. ICS is a highly caring and supportive community, with teachers focused on creating a supportive and enabling learning environment in which students are challenged to achieve their potential, encouraged to pursue their passions, and expected to fulfil their responsibilities.

Community Spirit

Abundant learning opportunities are presented within the Secondary academic and extra-curricular programme, allowing students to grow and develop in the context of an international setting. ICS has a strong community spirit with older and younger students working closely together in many situations, creating a positive and friendly learning environment.

In and out of the classroom

Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning, to recognise their strengths and strive to reach their potential both in and out of the classroom. Student progress and success are important and, while academic grades and reports provide an important assessment of progress, students receive recognition for their success in all aspects of the programme. Participating in the sports teams, taking part in expeditions, performing in school plays, joining the Student Council and being involved in community service, to name just a few possibilites, provide valuable learning opportunities and experiences for Secondary students.
